About Us

We are a non-profit organization that currently operates KFXY - 99.5 FM in Mesa, Arizona. 99.5 FM is a low power station that can only be heard close to Mesa and parts of Scottsdale depending on which direction you are driving. When the opportunity presented itself to apply for full power stations, we went for it. Unfortunately, there weren't many frequencies available in cities/towns in Arizona that we were interesting in. Therefore, we looked beyond Arizona and found opportunities in Colorado. We are excited to build 3 FM signals that have recently been granted by the FCC.

Jobs in radio are becoming harder to find as many radio stations across the country are letting Dj’s go. People with on air experience are having a tough time finding a radio job, which makes it really tough for someone with no experience. We give people a chance to gain experience and if they already have experience, we give them a place to do a show. It took me 8 years to get into radio, because I had no experience. Someone finally gave me a shot (our voice guy that says the station name between songs), after many many tries. I’m here to help people that want to be on the FM radio, get the opportunity to do so. We welcome anyone that wants to volunteer for us, experience or not.
